I need to call mouse control sometime this week – the little blighters have been at my Brussels sprouts again, and if this keeps up there won’t be any sprouts left for my Christmas dinner! I’ve heard of various ways of dealing with mice – someone suggested that mint leaves would do the trick – but I think I’d be better off calling in the professionals.

I’m too squeamish to deal with them myself – although they are a nuisance, they’re still very cute, and I don’t think I’d have the heart to despatch one by my own fair hand.
