Distance learning – c’est magnifique! November 12, 2009

So, in yet another attempt to better myself, I’ve just signed up for a distance learning course in French, and I’m really looking forward to it. I did a little bit of French at school, but I never really took to it. Now that my sister lives in France and has a French husband, though, I thought it would be good to put a bit of effort in and learn a second language.

As it’s a distance learning course, I’ll be able to plough through it as slowly as I want, so I can just do little bits and pieces of it as and when I can. I’m not going to tell my sister that I’m taking the course – I’ll just phone her up one day and carry out an entire conversation in perfect (well, almost perfect) French!
